General Submission Guildlines
- Papers must be in electronic form in either word or pdf format.
- Papers must follow the content guidelines below as specified by the NPA Content Committee.
- Papers must be completed 30 days before the conference. We can enforce this slowly as to not “rock the boat” too much in the beginning. But this needs to change. Otherwise we create logistic nightmares and delays for conference proceedings. Conference proceedings should be ready at the conference in the future. That is the ultimate goal.
- Conference fees must be paid for the paper to be accepted. Fees are required for papers in absentia.
NPA Content Submission Guildelines
- Abstracts should be no longer than 300 words when submitting. This will be accompanied by more detailed work, but the abstracts can be no longer than this.
- NPA papers must be completed 30 days before the conference. We can enforce this slowly as to not “rock the boat” too much in the beginning. But this needs to change. Otherwise we create logistic nightmares and delays for conference proceedings. Conference proceedings should be ready at the conference in the future. That is the ultimate goal.
- There must be a section for Postulate or Assumptions. They are to be numbered 1, 2, 3, etc.
- There must be a section for variables or parameters used in the paper. They should be numbered 1, 2, 3.
- There must be a section for discussing the practical value of the work. What new technologies or conventions does it bring to the world. Simply put: why is this worthwhile for the human race?
- Topics may include all types of sciences that are related to physics, cosmology, scientific philosophy, and math that relates to science.
- Topics may not include spiritualism, para-normal, psychology, UFOs, or religion. This does not exclude anyone with particular beliefs in these areas to submit papers to the NPA for consideration. This only means that the main thrust of a paper cannot involve these subjects but they certainly can be motivated by them.
- New works must be substantially different from previous works submitted to the NPA. Continuation or progress reports are welcome if they present new and interesting findings to previously presented work.
Submission Acceptance Process
- An online submission form for must be filled out by each person for each submission. On the form, there will be instructions and a check list that must be acknowledged by each author for each work. This is to make sure each author is aware and understands these guidelines. One simple checkbox will be to state that the author has read and understand the guidelines. This makes us avoid the problem of “I didn’t know”.
- Each online submission will be available for an online committee to accept or reject the papers. Having this online will allow for the job to be done on time. It is impossible to do this via regular mail and having online judges will allow for always having a sufficient “pool” of people to make the thumbs up, thumbs down decision.
- All judges’ names and comments will be published. No “anonymous” judges for submission.
- All of these submission guidelines are suggestions and do not have to be followed completely for papers to be accepted. They are simply suggestions by NPA members who want to see the serious and quality of work rise.
